"Presence before power. Blessing before dominance." Very helpful commentary on those those two events in the lifetime of Abraham. When we consider that the biblical narrative insists that we're ALL off the same boat, how should we then live...in truth and love?
I think the writer is Rob Wegner. Thank you, Rob, for your insights today. I skimmed this post, but plan to return to it later today to digest more completely. Thank you for writing this. I learned your name by asking AI about who writes Starfishyou. 😀
I encourage you, Rob, to reconsider your policy with regard to not providing a writer byline for each Starfishyou post. I encourage you to own your writing for the purpose of accountability as well as promotion of reader interest.
Regarding accountability, look at it from the perspective of, say, an early church believer in Ephesus, Philippi, or Rome who thinks he’s receiving a letter from Paul, but it’s from Demas, who has deserted the apostle. The believer would be upset to learn it wasn’t Paul. (Paul would be upset, too.) I do have confidence, based on what I have read of your writings, that you would not let such a bait-and-switch occur with Starfishyou, but you get the idea.
Regarding reader interest, readers develop relationships with writers, and awareness of who is writing greatly increases one’s incentive to read what is written. Now that I know that Rob Wegner, the leader of Kansas City Underground, is not writing every post, and I have no way of knowing who is writing a particular post, I have less incentive to read Starfishyou.
So, please reconsider your policy not to include bylines. Thank you, however, for the posts you have written. Keep up the good work and take ownership of it.
that's a good word, brother. We will tighten that up. We have begun to expand the team and I've only been noting the new writers not myself. I was thinking regular readers know it's me, but that's not necessarily true and new readers will be lost.
Thank you for sensitizing us to the importance of leading with Spirit inspired thoughts rather than relying on our own instinctive thinking that so often are tainted with hurt and brokenness.

Yes. This one’s by me. We have multiple contributors, but I tend to write the majority of the articles.

Who is the author of this one? They use a lot of “I” statements but I don’t see a name.
Rob here. I wrote this one.
Ah, got it. Thanks @Rob. Welcome to the South KC area. We love Fox & Bull and ASE!
Thanks brother!! Yes, they are fantastic.
